Students were expecting an easy question paper since they were part of the last batch with the old syllabus.
Nikita Wadke, student of Patkar College, Goregaon, said, “I struggled to complete the paper. It was time consuming because of tricky calculations.” Many students say that they were unable to attempt nearly 10-20 marks in the 80-marks paper.
Student complaints poured into the board helplines as well.
Chandrakant Munde, counsellor-on-duty at the helpline, said, “Maths 2 Commerce students are calling up saying the paper was lengthy and difficult.’’
Similarly, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X students struggled with their Mathematics paper on Saturday.
Indu Mathur, principal of Apeejay School, Kharghar, said, “Students particularly found one question worth four marks very difficult.”
