While shooting for a chase sequence in the television soap, Balika Vadhu, actor Toral Rasputra, who recently replaced actor Pratyusha Banerjee as Anandi, was to run and save Ganga’s kid from Ratan and his goons.

During the shoot for the same, Toral, with the kid in her hands, began to run on the cliff. But few minutes later, she realised that her lehenga was stuck in her shoe and before she could do something about it, she tripped with the kid in her hand.

Then, in an attempt to save the kid, she put forward her hand to ensure that the kid remains unhurt and in the bargain was hurt herself. A doctor was immediately rushed to the set.

After having a few painkillers, Toral continued shooting for the entire day without any complaints.
