Reports of a romance between cricketer Suresh Raina and actor Anushka Sharma hit headlines last year, even as the two denied it. However, now Raina has admitted that he is fond of Anushka. When we asked him about his favourite Bollywood female actors on a recent visit to the Capital, the batsman said, “I love Kajol and Aishwarya Rai’s work.”

He then lowered his voice, and added with a smile, “Aur jo nayi ladki Anushka hai woh bhi achhi hai (that new actor Anushka Sharma is good).
The 26-year-old also said that he is a Bollywood buff. and watches films to de-stress.

“Whenever we go out to play, we manage to see a couple of movies, watch some live music. It helps us relax. When we were in England, me, Rahul bhai (Rahul Dravid) and Dhoni went to watch some plays,” he says.

“I really admire Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan as actors.’’  In the new generation, I think Ranbir Kapoor is a fantastic actor,” he added.

Is he planning to tie the knot anytime soon? “Right now there’s nothing. Ghar pe kuchh chal raha hai, par kuchh pakka nahi hai (my family is in discussions for my marriage, but nothing concrete).
