Answering a query on strained ties, Singh said, "Indo-Pak relations are accident-prone and both countries should keep their first-aid kits ready all the time. People of Pakistan in totality are obsessed with the Kashmir issue whereas in India only people from the northern part are sensitive about it."
He added, "There was a time when Indian military had superiority over Pakistan army in terms of strength of warfare. It still has. But this superiority disappears in the face of nuclear weaponry. Therefore, the best bet is to engage Pakistan in the process of continuing negotiations."
Singh also spoke on the future of Indo-China relations.
RS Rathee, president of GCC, gave the vote of thanks.
