The 48-year-old filmmaker dismisses rumours about actor Priyanka Chopra playing the lead in HNY. “I recently shot an ad film with her. That’s how these rumours started. I love PeeCee. I have worked with her in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), Dostana (2008) and she also had a cameo in OSO. But I haven’t signed anyone yet. It’s a big budget movie, that’s why we are not in a hurry,” she says
Farah is also thrilled about the fact that her film OSO will open at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. “They are paying tribute to 100 years of Indian cinema. The film is an ode to Hindi cinema. Also, I’ll be judging a dance competition which will have both Indian and Australian participants. So it’s great,” she adds. Expressing her disappointment over SRK and Deepika Padukone not accompanying her to the festival, choreographer-turned-director says, “I wish they could come but they are really tied up with their upcoming film Chennai Express.”
Apart from work, Farah’s 5-year-old triplets (son Czar and daughters Diva and Anya) keep her busy. “They are great. It’s not difficult to juggle between family and work,” she concludes.
