"I would say that our future is very bright because they are so hard working, so sincere and want to do good work. It's enjoyable working with such people," the 39-year-old said at a radio station where he was present with Saqib and Rhea to promote the film.
Ram's last film Student of The Year saw him share screen space with three newcomers - Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt.
In Mere Dad Ki Maruti, Ram plays a strict father whose son, played by Saqib, loses his car.
Ram says as a teenager he was even more mischievous.
"What Saqib does with me in the film is nothing. He is very nice. I can't even tell you the kind of mischiefs I have done. I hit two of dad's cars in one night, can you imagine. When my dad came back from the tour, he had to hire a car," said the actor, who is also seen in the male lead in popular TV show "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain".
Directed by Ashima Chibber, Mere Dad Ki Maruti released Friday.
