Senior SP Manu Maharaj said one Raju Rajak had lodged a missing case after his son Monu disappeared. We started investigation and recovered the boy's body. After that, we took the help of FSL and a dog squad to solve the case,h he said.
With the clues pointing the needle of suspicion towards Kailash Prasad alias Nepali, police detained and quizzed him. In course of interrogation, Nepali confessed his involvement in two murder cases under Patliputra and Digha police station areas.
On the basis of his statement, police recovered the bloodstained stones used in killing Monu, the SSP added.
He said the accused had earlier also killed one Rahul Kumar (11) after sodomizing him in a similar incident at the same place on January 30 night.
