Asking DCs to conduct regular inspections of government institutions such as hospitals and schools, Hooda said police officers should be available to the people round the clock.
Hooda directed the DCs to monitor the wheat procurement and ensure that the farmers are paid on time for their produce.
The CM also directed the DCs to check mushrooming up of illegal colonies in their respective districts and asked chief secretary PK Chaudhery to set up committees for Gurgaon, Faridabad, Sonepat and Bhiwani districts to check the unauthorised practice. He asked DCs to give advertisements in the local newspapers, asking people to submit anonymous complaints against unauthorised colonies they come across.
Hooda also emphasized the need for strengthening of 'Har Samadhan' portal, especially at district headquarters level to register complaints through e-mail. He said that the officers should monitor the complaints on the portal and send fortnightly report to the chief secretary on the steps taken to redress them.
