Sridevi was looking out for the perfect script to make her Bollywood comeback. And finally, after years of waiting, the actor gave a nod to Gauri Shinde’s English Vinglish (2012) and the film went on to become a box-office hit. So what can we expect from her in the future? Will she be as cautious in choosing her next film as well?

News is that although Sridevi has already been signed on for the Mr India (1987) sequel, she might be acting in another film as well. The actor says, “I have been looking at a lot of scripts and also being choosy. However, my fans won’t have to wait for long this time. I’ll be signing a film very soon.” Sridevi also hinted at the fact that this new film will mostly be out before the Mr India sequel which has a long way to go.

The actor is happy that English Vinglish has not only done well in India, but also appealed to a global audience. The film has become the second highest- grossing Bollywood in Hong Kong, after 3 Idiots (2009). “It wouldn’t have been possible without Gauri, Balki and my fans, who received the film so well,” says Sridevi.
