The operation consisted of the removal of heart tumour, heart-valve replacement, closure of defect and bypass surgery of three blocked coronary arteries.
Ram Singh Kushwaha, 68, had complaints of breathlessness and palpitation since one year. He had also been suffering from weakness, vertigo and swelling but had no history of angina. Investigations revealed that all three coronary arteries were blocked up to 80-100%. He also had two other problems--a large tumor (LA Myxoma) floating in the heart cavity and mitral valve leakage.
