A father of two minor sons, Dhara had gone missing since Monday night. 30-year-old Dhara had been working as an agent of Rose Valley for the past several years, and had collected about Rs. nine lakh from investors. After the recent meltdown, he was facing mounting pressure to refund the money.
Dhara had deposited the certificates of investors wanting to redeem their money to the company but as the money was not given to them, Dhara faced frequent abuses and threats and was suffering from depression, his family said.
The Rose Valley agent, who had been working for several other Ponzi schemes, had sought money from his father Raghunath who last night assured to help him, they said.
