Minimal makeup, side-swept hair and a minaudiere (small evening case) completed her look. Off the red carpet too, Ash stayed away from her regular choices and carried a Parisian vibe with a stark white Saint Laurent shirt tucked and belted into a fitted Zac Posen fishtail skirt. The actor also made sure she added a touch of desi glam in a black sari with baroque embellishments by Sabyasachi Mukherjee, at her appearance at the 100 Years of Indian Cinema Gala.
“Getting it right for media appearances and being Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a big challenge especially because she recently became a mum. But, I really liked that she brought the glamour in with two western outfits and yet didn’t miss the desi touch with a glam sari,” says designer Rina Dhaka.
