The cost to build the NID campus in Kurukshetra has been estimated at Rs. 158.94 crore. The union ministry of commerce and industry, and the department of industrial policy and promotion (DIPP) will fund the project, likely to be completed within three years, the release said.
It will have an intake of 500 students and provide education and training to professionals in the fields of animation, film, exhibition, graphics, product, ceramic and glass, lifestyle, furniture and interior design.
The Kurukshetra NID will offer four-year bachelor degree course after Class 12 and start a two-and-a-half-year post-graduate course.
