Bharatiya Janata Party senior leader Tarun Chugh has said the party was going to start a Jail Bharo Andolan from June 1 against the Congress-led UPA government for “failing politically, economically, democratically and administratively”.
While addressing a press conference at Circuit House, Chugh said there had been an unprecedented price hike and records of corruption and scams during the UPA government's term. “The blind, deaf and dump UPA government has also failed on nation security and foreign policy,” he said.

The BJP leader said this movement would be joined by every citizen of the state and would be spread throughout the country. Party's national vice-president Parbhat Jha, former Himachal Pradesh chief minister Shanta Kumar, state BJP chief Kamal Sharma and other senior leaders of Punjab would surrender for arrest across Punjab, Chugh said.
