Bridget Jones’ third book title revealed
London: The title of Helen Fielding’s upcoming book, which continues the comic saga of diary-writing Bridget’s romantic and professional adventures, has been revealed by the publishers.
The literary singleton will return in a new novel entitled Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, News.com.au reported.
Fielding said that Bridget has grown older and her life has moved on. The previous books, Bridget Jones’s Diary and Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, that were later adopted in movies. ANI
Scientists find ‘blood’ in carcass of mammoth
Moscow: Russian scientists claimed Wednesday they have discovered blood in the carcass of a woolly mammoth, adding that the rare find could boost their chances of cloning the prehistoric animal.
An expedition led by Russian scientists earlier this month uncovered the well-preserved carcass of a female mammoth on a remote island in the Arctic Ocean.
Semyon Grigoryev, the head of the expedition, said the animal died at the age of around 60 some 10,000 to 15,000 years ago. ani
Lethal gamma-ray may soon hit planet earth
Melbourne: A lethal gamma-ray burst from a star about 8000 light years away could hit earth and possibly wipe out a quarter of our atmospheric ozone, astronomers have revealed.
They said that the Wolf-Rayet star WR 104 could go supernova any day and generate gamma rays that could reach earth, News.com.au reported.
Astronomer Grant Hill told to Forbes that we could see it go supernova anywhere from tomorrow to 500,000 years from now.ANI
