A man was killed while his kin was injured when a speedy vehicle hit the motorcycle they were riding on near the Nadra bus stand in Bhopal on late Wednesday night. According to police, the victim — Kamal Kishor, 34, who lived in Subedar Colony near Tila Jamalpura, was riding the bike, when an unidentified vehicle hit the two-wheeler. Kishor got critical wounds and was declared brought dead at the hospital.

His kin, Rakesh Tiwari, also got injuries including a fracture in the leg. He is undergoing treatment and his condition is reported to be stable. Police said Kishor worked at a private company’s office near Bal Vihar.

He was on duty in the evening and went to fetch his kin Tiwari, who arrived here from Jhansi, the same night. Before going home, they went to Jumerati for making some purchases. Subsequently, he headed towards home, when on way, a heavy vehicle hit the bike, causing his death.
