He said Barwala of Panchkula and villages of Ambala, Kurukshetra and Kaithal districts would be included in this project on pilot basis. He said the district administration would provide e-services through district e-governance society. He said an entrepreneur would be appointed at village level by the district administration for smooth functioning of this system in rural areas. He said the CSC centre would work as per the policies of the state government to provide various facilities to the people.
The CSC would offer facilities such as registration of birth, issuance of birth certificate, registration of child's name, registration of death, issuance of death certificate and issuance of non-availability certificate in case of loss of record of birth and death. Also, services related to the district revenue department such as issuance of caste certificate, domicile certificate and income certificate will be provided. GIS mapping of consumers, meter reading, preparing and payment of electricity bills would also be provided.
