He asked the department to prepare a blueprint of the requirements and said there would be enough money for the cause. He ordered upgrade of the fire brigade services and the procurement of new fire tenders.
Badal appreciated the officials and medical teams who had saved lives in Uttarakhand. He also lauded the pilots who had rescued people from difficult terrain at Kedarnath, Badrinath and Gobind Ghat. The team shared with him the need for mountaineering training to disaster management teams.
