The ongoing tri-series in the West Indies is a typical example of what is called by modern day youth as a ‘random’ one-day series. Look at the number of people who are coming to the grounds in the West Indies, just a few, and this is becoming a norm around the world.The WICB, like some other boards, are not fussed by this because they are getting their money from the television rights already sold. Add to it is the fact that after 136 years we still have only eight worthwhile nations playing international cricket.Corruption is another serious threat. So let’s get more worked up about these issues and less about DRS and umpiring errors.
