Senior BJP leader and former HP chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal on Wednesday came down heavily on the central government for taking little notice of the activities of Chinese forces in the Indian territory. He said it was shocking to point out that the latest incident took place when the Indian defense minister was holding talks in China with his Chinese counterparts.

Talking to mediapersons here, he said the central government should take a serious note of the Chinese activities and tell them through defense minister AK Antony to stop such activities which would be harmful for the nation in coming times.

Dhumal was pained to say that while Chinese and Pakistanis were sneaking into the Indian borders, the response of the India government was lukewarm. It showed that the foreign policy of the Indian government had totally collapsed and it was feeling helpless to face its adversaries.

The BJP leader urged the President to personally intervene into the matter and ensure that no such incident was repeated by Chinese any more.

The BJP leader said since borders of Himachal Pradesh were linked with that of China and Pakistan, the central government should take proper care of the state and ensure deployment of adequate forces on the borders and construct new helipads and vital road links to counter the activities of the adversaries.
