Terming Congress’ rally at Nasrullahganj as a flop show, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Sunday that Congress was suffering from ‘Shivraj phobia’ and the Congress leaders saw him even in their dreams.
Chouhan was addressing a gathering of BJP workers at the state BJP office
while formally launching the ‘Jan Ashirvad Yatra Rath’ on Sunday afternoon.
“From atop the vehicle, Chouhan said the bugle for the battle had been blown. Drums were being beaten. The party workers must be ready for Mission 2013.However, the Congress commander was nowhere to be seen,” he added.
The CM said the BJP government had done tremendous development work in Madhya Pradesh and had turned around the state’s status from a BIMARU state to a developed state.
The state was leading in the country in various spheres.
He said he would move from one place to another as part of the yatra to seek blessings of people on the ground of the development work done in the past nine years during the BJP regime.
Exhorting the party workers to work wholeheartedly for assembly elections, he said Mission-2003 happened to be a stopover only to the destination lying ahead.
Those present on the occasion included party national vice-president Prabhat Jha, state BJP president Narendra Singh Tomar, state election campaign in- charge Anil Madhav Dave, minister in state government Anoop Mishra, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s wife Sadhna Singh, Vishwas Sarang, Madan Mohan Gupta, Vishwas Sarang, Alok Sharma, Alok Sanjar, Dr Hitesh Bajpai, Dhruv Narayan Singh, Vijesh Lunawat, Rajendra Pratap Singh and others.
