In spite of trying something new, Sonakshi was comfortable doing the scenes. “She is extremely talented and photogenic, and we have pushed the envelope a little bit. I have touched upon her sensual side in a way that has not been done before. There is intimacy with both the leading men (Akshay and Imran). We didn’t cross the line and she was fine and comfortable doing the scenes,” says Milan.
The director is also convinced that her sensual side will be enjoyed by the audience. “The intimate scenes have been shot gracefully. There is no unnecessary exposing. It’s a side of her that people will enjoy. In fact, I have never shown any expletives in my previous works as well,” adds Milan.
Interestingly, the director had already made his mind to cast Sonakshi in Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara even before her debut in Dabangg (2010). “I had met her at a party before the release of Dabangg, and there was some instinct which told me to cast her. Today she is getting terrific reviews for her work. I am happy for her success,” says Milan.
