Bali announced that an engineering college of hydropower in association with NHPC and NTPC would be set up in Bandla of Bilaspur district, besides setting up one such college in Kangra district. He also announced plying of a special bus from Hamirpur to Amritsar via Deotsidh.
Bali said the Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Parivahan Yojana would be launched for providing avenues of self-employment to the unemployed youth of the state.
The transport minister also inspected the proposed site for the bus stand as well as technical university at Daroohi and directed the revenue authorities to complete the formalities so that the work for the construction of the project started in time.
He also paid a surprise visit to the HRTC workshop near here and directed the officers concerned to improve the condition of buses and the campus housing the workshop.
