How does it feel to be a woman? A teacher in Hazaribagh took the question to a whole different level when he was seen roaming around in the town wearing a burqa on Wednesday. On a security sensitive day such as the eve of Independence Day, a suspicious man in burqa saw the police immediately swing into action and send teams to apprehend the individual.

The man was arrested near Mahavir Mandir in Kumhar Toli and was identified as Faiyaz Akram, a teacher employed at an inter college in Ichak.

His explanation for the bizarre behaviour was that he was to participate in a programme on August 15 on the theme "Atrocities against Women” and was rehearsing at home wearing the burqa.

On asked why he was roaming in the town while still clad in the burqa, he said he simply forgot that he was wearing it when he stepped out of home.

The police verified his statement and as it was the eve of Independence Day, he was later released on bond.
