Cops share info, probe into biker death begins
The magisterial inquiry into the death of 19-year-old Karan Pandey — killed during police action on stunt bikers on July 28 — can finally begin, with the Delhi police providing vital information to the state government on Thursday. In its Thursday edition, HT had reported that the police were dragging their feet over providing information.
“We have received most of the information that was required,” said a senior Delhi government official. “We had sought information from the police on 10-12 accounts and have received it on 6-8, including an FIR copy and transcripts of PCR calls.”
