Pakistan releases 362 Indian fishermen
Demanding that, the rules need to be softer for fishermen, those released said, “It is very tough inside the sea to identify a border. And just in search of livelihood we get caught by Pakistani Rangers. Even though we do not have any bad intention but still we have to spend years in jails of Pakistan.”Stressing that, no fishermen has any bad intention, the Indian Nationals demanded that both India and Pakistan must decide on immediately releasing fishermen who cross water territory inadvertently.
Apart from this, some fishermen also expressed that there were about 100 more Indian fishermen languishing in Pak jail and many were sick.
Talking to reporters, Babu Lal, said, “There were still about 97 fishermen in Pakistani jail. Many were sick and Indian Government must immediately get them released.”
Two Indian nationals released on Saturday Sanju and Ramesh also mentioned that treatment given to the Indian fishermen in jails was not good as compared to the Pakistani nationals.
The freed Indians also demanded compensation from the government as they again have to work hard to establish their business
