Dr Sidhu conveyed to the party president that Sidhus were being ignored by the state unit of the party and also how her MP husband Navjot Singh Sidhu was being sidelined.
Dr Sidhu had recently questioned the vision of the state government, and targeted state BJP chief Kamal Sharma, claiming that the issues were discussed with him many a time, but to no avail.
She had questioned the rationale behind having her as chief parliamentary secretary saying no files were given to her and that the state BJP's house was not in order.
The chief parliamentary secretary told Rajnath that she had no problems with the alliance partner, Shiromani Akali Dal, but it was the state BJP that she had problems with.
Sharma had earlier termed the statement made by Dr Sidhu as unfortunate and also claimed that the party leadership had told him to talk to her.
A few months ago, Dr Sidhu had posted on the social networking site that her husband had left the city as he was "sidelined" by the party and felt "suffocated".
