The young chief minister’s hide-and-seek with Noida started in August last year when he chose to avoid visiting the city and inaugurated the 165-km Yamuna expressway from Lucknow via a video conference.
On April 2, the chief minister inaugurated big-ticket development projects worth Rs. 3,300 crore in Noida through a remote control from his Lucknow bungalow.
According to sources, Yadav junior heeded the advice of local Samajwadi Party leaders and kept away from the city.
Yadav even stayed away from Noida while it hosted the prestigious Asian Development Bank (ADB) meet in May.
