Budding artists of the local Doaba College on Thursday released a first of its kind CCTV camera shot film called 'The Social Chakkar-View' which was screened here by the journalism and mass communication department of the college. Based on the growing instances of cyber crimes and vicious trap of social networking, the movie is a story of an innocent girl who falls in bad company after entering the college, the students informed.

The crew includes Robin Gupta- concept, director and story, Puneet Paras Punj-editing, Sunny Chopra- production head, Prashant Bali -dubbing and recording, Pratik Mahendru-promotion, Rajesh Gupta- producer.

Robin, one of the students said, "The 20-30 minutes movie showcases the story of an innocent girl who falls prey to bad company. Taking her advantage, some boys record her obscene video and circulate it in the college, finally provoking the girl to commit suicide.

Chander Mohan, president, college managing committee and Naresh Dhiman, principal of the college lauded the efforts of the students for materialising the concept brilliantly and innovatively shooting the entire video with the CCTV cameras.

The masters and bachelors degrees students along with their teachers have acted in the film. Manveen and Manraj are in the lead roles while Nipun and Rajat are in supporting roles.
