Thematically, there are observable ties to the SCP Foundation, a science fiction-oriented website whose content is intriguing and oftentimes creepy.
If nothing else, it seems that Frictional has swapped dank medieval horror for chilling sci-fi spookiness, losing none of its deft, unnerving touch along the way.
Space exists on the Soma Systems website for a total of eight "case files" like these; should disclosure continue at a rate of one per week, a more thorough reveal in December could be anticipated.
