Unlike many of her contemporaries, who harbour a dream of making it big in Bollywood, television actor Aashka Goradia (right) says that she has no such plans.
“I’m extremely happy working in the TV industry and have no Bollywood plans,” says Aashka, who is currently portraying the negative role of Rani Bhatiani in the historical saga Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap.

The 27-year old, who has played popular and different roles like Kumud in Kkusum, Kalawati in Laagi Tujhse Lagan, among several other shows, and taken part in reality shows such as Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 4 and Bigg Boss 6, says that she loves playing characters with negative shades.

“It is good to be bad. And looking at the trend, I can say that being bad is the new good. I enjoy doing grey characters as they have a lot more scope for the actor than a positive, simple character,” she reasons.
Moving on, ask her if she is catching the current season of Bigg Boss and she says, “I am not watching it everyday but in bits and pieces.

I feel the show is a brand in itself and is all about content. And undoubtedly, this season they have enough people to give them interesting content.”

Asked if she’s still seeing her actor boyfriend Rohit Bakshi, who she had reportedly broken up with, Aashka says, “Despite the speculations that we have drifted apart, let me tell you that we are together and are there for each other.

We are very happy right now. But there are no marriage plans as of now.”
