"The C-Class remains one of Mercedes-Benz' best-sellers in the competitive entry-level luxury sedan segment. To celebrate the success story of the C-Class which sold more than 10 million units globally, we are presenting the 'Edition C' for our Indian customers," Mercedes-Benz India Managing Director & CEO Eberhard Kern told reporters here.
'Edition C' will continue to set newer benchmarks in design, quality and luxury for the segment. It embodies the new generation of agility having a strong impulse for modernity and sportiness and is inspired by the global success of the C-Class, he said.
'Edition C' is equipped with a 4 cylinder diesel engine with 7G-tronic plus automatic transmission, which enables reduced fuel consumption while delivering high output and torque for unmatched driving pleasure.
Over 10 million cars of the C-Class family sold world over since the global debut of 'Baby Benz' in 1982.
