The University Grants Commission (UGC) has extended the last date to submit applications for the UGC-National Eligibility Test (NET) from November 14 to16.
The UGC has asked UGC-NET applicants for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for lectureship to submit the printout of the online application form along with the bank challan copy and attendance slip to Prof Naresh Tuli, coordinator of UGC-NET, department of geology, Panjab University (PU), before November 16.

The office would remain open from 9am to 5pm without lunch break. It would also remain open on November 14, which is otherwise a holiday in PU, a spokesman said.

The UGC-NET for JRF and eligibility for lectureship would be held on December 29. Only candidates who have applied online can submit hard copies.
