The BJP would put up a model showing Gujarat CM and party’s PM candidate selling tea at a railway platform during a two-day exhibition to be inaugurated from Tuesday.
The exhibition, ahead of the Modi’s rally in Agra on November 21, conveys the party’s plan to cash in on Uttar Pradesh’s ruling Samajwadi Party MP Naresh Agarwal’s recent ‘chai walla can’t be a PM’ remark’ against the BJP leader.

Agarwal’s remark has come in handy for the BJP in playing up Modi’s humble beginning. BJP’s strategists estimate this would help them in establishing connect with the OBC voters in the state.

UP BJP chief Laxmikant Bajpai said that at the exhibition the party would also put up a detailed account of Modi’s life and times, showcasing his rise. Besides, a 90 minute video on Gujarat CM’s life would also be screened at the exhibition, which would also have a painting exhibit on the BJP leader.
