The Opel Monza Concept offers drivers an unprecedented level of information access, turning the dashboard into a 3D multimedia screen through the use of an LED rear projection system. Rather than a fixed layout of dashboard instruments, the Opel Monza Concept presents an entirely customizable dashboard spanning across the entire front of the car. Drivers can select which dials and settings are shown on the dashboard through the integrated LED projectors and change the display at any time. This is the first time that rear projection technology has been applied to car design.

The dashboard shows information on the car and driving conditions in addition to presenting the various multimedia and connected services available. Drivers navigate through the system's menus and options through the use of voice commands or through steering wheel buttons.

Drivers can choose between three preset information display and connectivity modes through the use of three simple commands: "Me, Us or All."

Under the "Me" setting, the multimedia system displays only information relevant to the driver. The "Us" mode displays multimedia functions relevant to passengers and allows a predefined group of users to connect to the in-car network. Finally, the "All" setting allows the driver to share certain information -- regarding road conditions or itineraries, for example -- with the entire internet.
