She didn’t share the best equation with Armaan Kohli on the reality TV series, Bigg Boss 7. Looking back at her stint on the show, evicted participant Sofia Hayat says that she should have dealt with her fellow contestant with a strict hand.

“I hate him; he is a horrible person. I didn’t hate him in the beginning, but I do now because of all the things he said and did this week. He called me names and hit me in the face with a handle… I wish I had slapped him though, but I thought Big Boss would intervene and take him away. I don’t think he deserves to stay there (on the show),” says the British actor.

How has the Bigg Boss experience changed you?
I was confused in the beginning, and I still don’t know how to play the game, but I’ve definitely come out a stronger person. I was put in situations I’d never been in before. Normally, I’d run away, but in the house, I stood up for myself. I don’t take c**p from anybody anymore. I thank Armaan for that.

Kushal said you should expose Armaan for who he really is.
Yes, absolutely. He hit me in the face and called me disgusting names. He is a horribly violent man. Also, about his relationship with Tanisha (Mukerji), I think they are faking it for TRPs. She’s stupid for listening to him and doing everything that he asks of her. She does everything for him; that’s not how a woman should be in a relationship.

What about the Gauahar Khan-Kushal Tandon love story?
That is absolutely real. The way he listens to her and stands up for her. I pray their relationship gets stronger.

Why did everyone keep saying that you instigated fights? Will you stay friends with anyone from the house?
I didn’t really. I came in the house much later and only knew Andy’s version of the story. I was listening to everyone to know the truth and people concluded that I was causing fights. Apart from Kushal and Gauahar, I don’t think I will be friends with anybody. I was close to Andy in the beginning, but he does a lot of backbiting.

Do you consider yourself a sex symbol?
Not at all. In fact, I don’t think I’m attractive. I was the little girl who was bullied at school, and people used to say I’d never find a man.

There was speculation about you dating cricketer Rohit Sharma. Is that true?
Yes, it’s true. I was dating him earlier this year, but not anymore. I’m single now.

What’s next on the cards?
I have a few films planned, but making money is not important; making yourself happy is.
