Irrigation and water resources department superintending engineer Jagmohan Singh said, “It needs to be clarified that we had been supplying since Arpil 2013 as per the requirement of HUDA.

BJP condemns Kaushalaya DamA statement released by Bhartiya Janta Party leaders Gian Chand Gupta and BB Singal on Wednesday said the dam’s viability and utility was in question as it was inaugurated by chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda to benefit the DLF and other real estate companies.
“The state government wasted Rs. 220 crore of the public money in constructing the dam and afterwards crores were spent for construction of pipe line.
We strongly criticise the state government for constructing non-viable dam to give benefit to private real estate companies,” read the statement.
