Accusing the ruling Congress government in Haryana of inflicting 'colossal atrocities on Dalits', the Dalit Bachao Manch (DBM) leaders on Thursday announced to hold rallies for Dalits' rights.
Interacting with newspersons, DBM patron Udit Raj and state convener Kanta Allaria said that a it was frustrating to see how the Dalit leaders in the government and opposition alike were using the community for personal benefits.

Stating that the DBM would hold a Dalits' rally at Rohtak on January 20, they said that four more such rallies in different zones of Haryana would be held during the next two months to mobilise Dalits.

"There is a backlog of about a lakh vacancies meant for dalit communities in different government departments," Allaria said.
