Chairman refused to admit that it is the impact of Aam Aadmi party (AAP), which has formed government in neighbouring Delhi, riding on the wave of pro-common man agenda.
"I want that Noida or Greater Noida becomes the part of a change taking place on international level. On Republic Day, we took oath to give our best to work for the betterment of our country, which attained freedom after a lot of struggle, and bloodbath. Our ancestors laid their lives for freedom. Therefore, it is our duty to ensure that corrupt forces do not derail development of our city and country," said chairman, who appeal to his staff to work hard to bring a change in public service, and serve people.
He said that 2014 will be a ‘year of infrastructure’ for three industrial areas. He also named Greater Noida’s City Park after Mihir Bhoj, a Gurjar community hero. He also named a sports complex after Vijay Singh Pathik, a freedom fighter.
"We also took pledge that 24X7 water supply will be availed in Noida by the end of 2014 by all means. This is time that we all come forward to fight corrupt practices, and drop our egos and work to build a strong nation," said chairman.
