We’re also told that Rajamouli and his team spent almost a year in preparation for the VFX. Baahubali is being simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil and will be released in 2015 in these languages as well as be dubbed into Hindi, Malayalam and other foreign languages.
Producer Shobu Yarlagadda says, “Baahubali is an ambitious project, and we’re attempting to make it the most spectacular film ever in Indian cinema. We are using cutting-edge technology to achieve this.” He adds, “There are a lot of complex computer-generated imagery (CGI) and VFX shots in 90 per cent of the movie. That means about 4,500-5,000 VFX shots. It will be one of the most expensive films ever produced in India along with highest VFX budgets ever.”Read: Baahubali doesn't have an international cast, says Rajamouli
