Those who will be affected by the verdict of the CAT include G M P Reddy, director general and inspector general of police (the top boss of state police), Raj Kanojia, DG (state armed force), Anil Kumar DG (Welfare), R J S Nalwa DG and commandant general home guards and Vijay Kumar, DG (enforcement branch).
The verdict has come as a humiliation to the as all the DGs have been struck down by the order. During the hearing over the past few months, it was becoming clear that the state government was increasingly being pushed to the wall.
Islam has already been approached by the Aam admi Party and the Congress to become its member in the state. Islam is supposed to retire on February 28.
According to his current plans, he will launch a campaign throughout the state through a platform against the Mamata Banerjee government.
