Yogendra Yadav to shift base from Delhi to Gurgaon
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Yogendra Yadav is set to shift base from Delhi to Gurgaon, the seat he will contest from in the coming Lok Sabha polls.
The AAP stragetist, who made a mark analysing elections, is likely to make the move to the NCR town in Haryana shortly. He is the AAP’s in-charge of Haryana and has already started making regular visits to Gurgaon.
The AAP has decided to contest all 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana.
Yadav, who is away in Mumbai for an outreach programme of his party for industry captains, could not be reached for comment.
A close aide of the leader said, “No date has been fixed. Also, it is not yet decided whether he will move there alone or with family.”
An Ahir, Yadav is a native of Saharanvas in neighbouring Rewari district which forms part of the Gurgaon Lok Sabha constituency.
In all likelihood, Yadav will take on Rao Inderjit Singh (BJP), a Rewari royal. Singh is also from the Ahir community.
