"What added to his gloom was his interaction with an SC-appointed interlocutor who met with him on Friday," said a jail official. "A few minutes after she left, Roy officially and requested us that a meeting with his family would do him a world of good," another official said, adding that Roy's request was under consideration.
The apex court, on Friday, castigated the Sahara group on its proposal to refund the Rs. 20,000 crore that it owes its investors terming it 'an insult'.

Sahara was then directed to come up with a more 'honourable' proposal and SC reiterated that Roy serve the remainder of his judicial custody till Tuesday.
After sleeping on cold concrete on his first night behind bars, Roy and two of his associates were allowed cots last Tuesday.Interestingly, Roy and his associates executives are currently sharing a cell which had earlier housed those sentenced to jail for their involvement in the 2G scam.
