Saying he suspected Congress behind the controversy, he said its leaders had a lot to hide. “Rahul Gandhi is leading a bachelor’s life out of compulsion. He wants to marry a foreigner but his mother feels it will impede his becoming the PM,” he claimed.
Countering the charge that his organisations were funding Modi’s poll campaign, Ramdev said none of his trusts had given even a “chavanni” to the BJP. Instead, he said, the Congress was steeped in corruption: “Rahul is reaping what his grandfather Jawaharlal Nehru had sowed.”
Throwing his weight behind Modi, he predicted a landslide victory for the party. “The NDA will easily cross the 300-mark and form the next government,” he said.
