The play was largely attended by theatre buffs who were associated with Sindra. Chief guest Kamal Arora, a Sangeet Natak Akdemi awardee, recalled his tour of performances by city artistes in London and other cities with CS Sindra. The light and sound format of the play had been staged by Sindra.

The play chronicled the patriotic journey of a humble sewadar Udham who witnessed the massacre of innocent persons after General Michael O’Dyer opened fire at the Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar on the auspicious Baisakhi day in 1919.
A sizeable audience lauded actors Ashish Sharma Vicky Bawa, Rajiv Mehta, Robin Toor, Harry Sidhu, Harminder, Gurdev Singh and others.
