Niharika Mehta of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management, Jhande village, Ludhiana topped the BCom III examination, the result of which was declared by the Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh on Friday.

Niharika secured 1581 out of 1800 marks.

Meanwhile, Jasleen Kaur and Priyanka Sohar of the same college have secured the second and the third positions, respectively.

Aaina Gupta of Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana, Surnav Kalra of SD College, Sector-32, Chandigarh, Supriya Bansal of DAV College, Abohar, Shifali Arora and Jyotika Juneja of Government College for Girls, Ludhiana, Ajay Kumar of SCD Government College, Ludhiana and Hina Goyal of Arya College, Ludhiana bagged fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth positions, respectively.

PU Controller of Examinations (CoE) professor Parvinder Singh informed that 96.66 percent students had passed the BCom-III exams. “As many as 7,510 students had appeared for the examinations and 7,259 have passed,” he said.
