The medical examination of eunuch, who had on Tuesday complained of sexual assault by three policemen of the Dargah police station here on June 4, has confirmed the assault. “The medical report confirmed bleeding and two finger test on my client,” claimed Mohammed Ayub, counsel for the complainant. However, doctors have suggested a sonography test to confirm that bleeding was not due to an internal injury, he added.

The report also confirmed the victim’s claim that she is a female after she got female genitals transplanted in 2009. “I underwent a sex organ transplant in 2009, for which I spent `4 lakh,” said the victim.

Her statement under section 164 of the CrPC would be recorded before a judicial magistrate on Thursday. “We have moved an application in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, who has fixed June 12 to record the victim’s statement,” said Ayub.Keeping in view of the seriousness of charges, additional SP had ordered an inquiry into the incident after registering a case against the accused policemen.

According to the complainant, three constables allegedly gang-raped the victim on the midnight of June 4 after taking her out from the police lock-up. The victim was arrested on the charges of beating up a traffic policeman at Delhi Gate in the Dargah Bazar area of the city the same day.

Meanwhile, the eunuch community has threatened to intensify the agitation if the accused policemen were not arrested soon. “Members of the community from Mumbai and Delhi are planning to come to Ajmer for a showdown with the police if no action was taken soon,” said Shabnam, a member of the transgender community. “If we are not safe from these kinds of act, then no one is safe in the city,” Shabnam added.
