Ramanna said that if Himachal Pradesh chief minister Virbhadra Singh agreed to his proposal to build a memorial at the incident site, then the Telangana government would provide the financial help. He added that the Telangana government was providing `11.5 lakh ex-gratia, including the `1.5 lakh announced earlier by the Himachal government, to each family of the 25 victims.
The minister also thanked the state government for providing every possible help in organising rescue and search operations.
Meanwhile, the Mandi deputy commissioner has informed that death certificates of all 25 victims have been issued to meet out the legal formalities.
He said that so far 17 dead bodies had been recovered, whereas the search operation was still on with 256 personnel from the national disaster response force, army, navy, local police and the paramilitary forces.
