Senior BJP leader and former union minister Yashwant Sinha on Tuesday lost his cool on being asked who will be the chief minister of Jharkhand if the party wins the upcoming assembly polls. The veteran leader got irked over the media asking the question and went on to use derogatory words.

"Any chu****.(a Hindi cuss word) can become the CM, I have nothing to do with it," Sinha said.

Sinha was addressing a programme on the expectations of Jharkhand from the upcoming budget at the Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce building in Ranchi.

The former external affairs minister had recently been in the news for leading a crusade against power crisis for which he had also served imprisonment of 15 days. He is being seen as one of the eligible leaders in the race for the CM post after BJP patriarch LK Advani projected Sinha as a suitable leader for the state last month.

Sinha's words on Tuesday received criticism from the political parties here. While a majority of the BJP leaders refused to comment on the incident, the Indian National Congress's state president Sukhdeo Bhagat said that a respectable and experienced leader like Sinha is not expected to use such unparliamentarily words irrespective of the situation.
