District administration on Sunday suspended three government teachers for allegedly watching obscene video films in the premises of Panigaon middle school in Mathura, an official said. Mathura Basic Shiksa Adhikari Shyam Prakash Yadav said headmaster Mahavir Prasad, assistant teacher Mohar Singh and a Grade 4 employee Jayveer Singh were suspended with an immediate effect for watching obscene videos on school's computers.

A contractual part-time teacher Praveen Kumar was fired from the job in the matter, he said.

Yadav said, on a complaint, assistant Basic Shiksha Adhikari had gone to inspect the matter in the school where he found a video clip in Kumar's cell phone, depicting the headmaster watching the obscene videos.

Yadav, on the direction of district magistrate B Chandrakala, suspended all the accused and proceeded to lodge a case under cyber crime law.
